I had to respond to this letter very quickly. I was on vacation when the letter was mailed so I didn't see it until eight days before the appointment. Since I had to respond at least seven days prior to the appointment, I was kind of under the gun to get the letter out. In a way, I suppose I was fortunate that the letter was not signed.
